This class will combine repetitive movements within basic yoga poses to generate internal heat while strengthening and lengthening your muscles. You will learn the principles of alignmnent on a deep level enabling you to push yourself without injury. We will go slowly and deeply into poses as well to explore our edges in a variety of ways. Respecting your body's limitations is a key part of this practice.

The major core muscles will be strengthened including abdominals, back, hip, and shoulder muscles. Yoga will also help lengthen muscles as you build strength.

Savasana, the rest pose at the end of class, will seem super sweet and welcome.

Directions:
Follow signs at 261 Asheland Ave to TOWN AND MOUNTAIN REALTY. Phifer Street is the cross street at the stop light if you miss the first entrance. Just turn Right on Pheifer and then turn Right into the parking lot.

The Town and Mountain Training Center is in the back of the Town and Mountain Realty building. (There is no street sign for Town and Mountain Training Center.)

From Asheland Ave, pull into parking lot and drive around to the front of Town and Mountain Realty. (This is the south side of the building.)

Walk up the ramp on the west side of the building to the left of the entrance into Town and Mountain Realty. Follow the small signs to Town and Mountain Training Center .There will be a steel door at the top of the ramp. Just pull the door to open. You will walk into a reception area and the studio is to the right and ahead through an open door.
